50,037 words...

Yeah bitches. I did it. I wrote a 50,000 word novel in 27 days! You saw some of the excerpts and if you went to the NaNoWriMo site every day I changed the excerpt so you got to read more.

But now...

Now it goes into hiding. That's right. The novel, "Later, Skater" is going into hiding. Not because I think it sucks. But because maybe, just maybe, after some editing and polishing, I will be publishing it.

Thanks so much to everyone who gave me well wishes. I really do appreciate it very much.

Teasing Bastard! I wanted to read that! Do you know how hard it is to find good gay fiction!? Now i have to go re-read a bunch of unfinished Comicality stories..... Why did you have to go all P.L. Nunn on us? "I have been writing this really awesome story, here, read some of it. Oh you like it? Cool! Now that its done though you have to PAY to read it! MWUAHAHAHA!" *bangs head on desk*

I'm sorry that you feel that way anonymous. But it does feel good to be compared to the highly successful P.L. Nunn. Ha! Ha!

I was always intending on writing and publishing "Later, Skater." Especially if you notice that I have TWO unfinished projects that I ran out of steam on.

To actually complete a manuscript (though it still will need editing) is a high that I don't think any drug could ever compare to.

Anonymous, it's actually quite easy to find gay fiction. Seriously easy. If you mean gay fiction with something other than sex as the main plot element, I'd have to agree with you on that one.

@ Pixie, Is it like feeling like you did something impossible, I get the same feeling when I finish coding something ^_^

Great job! I still have 10k left.

Things have been rather shitty here, so I didn't have too much time to write...however, I WILL get 50k by the deadline. No buts! :P

Congratulations!

I totally support you in publishing your book. It sucks to have to pay for stuff, but on the other hand getting paid for your stuff is awesome, and since the stuff is yours, its your right to get paid, and our lot to pay.

Again, congratulations, and good luck with the (tedious) editing.

Congratulations on finishing something!

I sadly only got out 5000 words, (at least I have an excuse; schoolwork and finals coming up).

I hope you do accomplish your goals and get it published. Fine tuning is always the hardest part of writing,
