Penis, er Peanut Gallery.

It's pixiesticks.org's 5th year anniversary today. March 11th 2001 - March 11th 2006. And the volume of email and IMs and messages and tags and whatnot that is positive is so far overwelming, I really shouldn't be making this post.

But I gotta be me.

The reason why you see me being chilly to those who complain about the any yaoi posting, be it Gravitation or Shota, or really anything on that page, is because honestly they usually lack tact, and that compells me to not care much less listen. The simple fact is that I probably host more yaoi than maybe anybody on the internet. I don't know if that's true or not. I'm just throwing it out there. Have you checked those archives? That's a metric buttload of bishounen! And I don't have to do it.

But I love to do it.

I love yaoi. I've loved how it's developed so strongly here in the United States and probably other parts of the world. I highly respect the artists, and always say that if I am running something of yours, lemme know, so I can give credit or take it down or direct people to where they can buy your stuff.

But I don't love whiny ass complaints about the yaoi. What makes me even more annoyed by these whiny ass complaints is that they come MORE OFTEN THAN NOT by females under the age of 18 who AREN'T SUPPOSED TO VIEW IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. So either mature more to send a truly helpful constructive critisism or go away. Really. Erase my site from your favorites and go find some other place on the internet to play. (I hear myspace.com is perfect for you.)

Oh, and the end of Volume 8 is up. I think it's missing some pages, but it was all I could find. No need to send any whiney ass complaints. :P

$675 for compensated dating of someone nearly 5 times your age?

TOKYO (Reuters) - A Japanese Buddhist priest who was arrested on suspicion of having paid sex with a teenage girl said he was under stress and had given in to lust.

Itsushi Ehara, 73, chief priest at a temple in the western Japanese prefecture of Hiroshima and also head of a nursery school, paid the 15-year-old girl 80,000 yen ($675) to have sex in a hotel in downtown Tokyo, a police spokesman said on Friday.

"I could not resist my lust. A lot of stress built up from running the school," Ehara was quoted by Kyodo news agency as telling police.

Ehara, who is believed to have met the girl through a prostitute-dispatch service, is also suspected of having paid for sex with several other teenage girls over a period of two to three years, Kyodo quoted police as saying.

Japan has long had a relatively lax attitude toward sexual exploitation of young people. Teenage prostitution -- known as "compensated dating" -- was outlawed in 1999, but it still goes on, though less openly than before.

Coquettish little faggot.

It's something Fang said of himself once over on his deviant art page. And you know, that very word could definately describe the well worn uke of the current spread of Gravi Remix Volume 8. I mean, even K-san is getting in on the action! I hear he's got a loaded gun, if you know what I mean.

Check out the third section of the doujinshi that has everyone fanning themselves over on the Yaoi Boi page.

He'll ask the judge for a lot of recess I'm sure.

Five-year-olds learn a lot in kindergarten these days, but not quite enough to prepare them for jury duty.

A five-year-old boy in Maryland received a summons for jury duty. The summons showed his name and birth date, but in the year 1900. He was born in 2000.

The Baltimore County jury commissioner says they get their names from the motor vehicles department and voter lists. Still, this boy is five, not 105. His mother Laura Evans, says, "We weren't sure to check the box he's over 70 or not 18 yet."

Jury commissioner Nancy Tilton says, "I've been here for 25 years. We've never summoned a child or a dog or any of the funny stories that you hear."

Officials aren't sure if there was another man in the county with the same name, exactly 100 years older than the boy.

Deal or No Deal?

A Dubai-owned company abruptly abandoned its plan for managing operations at six U.S. ports Thursday, defusing an election-year showdown between President Bush and the Republican-controlled Congress over an issue that had become a political land mine for the GOP.

"DP World will transfer fully the U.S. operations ... to a United States entity," H. Edward Bilkey, the company's top executive, said in the surprise announcement that seemed to spread relief throughout the Capitol and the White House. It was unclear which American business might get the port operations.

Just hours earlier, Republican House and Senate leaders privately told the president that Congress was all but certain to block DP World's plan. Under pressure from a disapproving public, a House committee overwhelmingly voted against it Wednesday. The leaders told Bush the Senate would inevitably do the same, despite his threats to veto any legislation killing the deal.

The company's announcement gave Bush an out. He now doesn't have to back down from his staunch support of the United Arab Emirates-based company or further divide his party on a terrorism-related issue with a veto.

Time goes by... so slowly.

Just a little reminder, since we're celebrating the 5th Anniversary of Pixiesticks that there are tons of archives for the site. Just click on Archives to your left and bask in all the nostalgic goodness.

After your done dusting off some gems of the past, the second part of the Gravitation Remix Volume 8 has been posted. It really does spell out the real problem Eiri Yuki has with his lover.

That sure is going to be painful to "yiff" with.

PARIS - A team of American-led divers has discovered a new crustacean in the South Pacific that resembles a lobster and is covered with what looks like silky, blond fur, French researchers said Tuesday.

Scientists said the animal, which they named Kiwa hirsuta, was so distinct from other species that they created a new family and genus for it.

The divers found the animal in waters 7,540 feet deep at a site 900 miles south of Easter Island last year, according to Michel Segonzac of the French Institute for Sea Exploration.

The new crustacean is described in the journal of the National Museum of Natural History in Paris.

The animal is white and just shy of 6 inches long — about the size of a salad plate.

In what Segonzac described as a "surprising characteristic," the animal's pincers are covered with sinuous, hair-like strands.

It is also blind. The researchers found it had only "the vestige of a membrane" in place of eyes, Segonzac said.

The researchers said that while legions of new ocean species are discovered each year, it is quite rare to find one that merits a new family.

The family was named Kiwaida, from Kiwa, the goddess of crustaceans in Polynesian mythology.

The diving expedition was organized by Robert Vrijenhoek of the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute in California.

Just what we all want: More uke whining from Shuichi.

Continuing with pixiesticks.org's 5th Anniversary Celebration, we give the gift that keeps on giving. No need to ask for a gift reciept, because while you may want to return your used up bishonen uke for a fresh new one every now and then, nothing truly is better than another healthy heaping of ecchiness given by Gravitation Remix.

Clean up on isle Yaoi Bois.

Real Pretty Boy Poll results.

As Ayeshagirl pointed out in a comment, of course the results of the Brokeback Mountian poll were incorrect. Just a little joke at the expense of the film that pretty much everybody and their incestious gay twin brother thought was going to win Best Picture.

Matt Dillon and Ryan Phillipe were in Crash, not Brokeback Mountian.

The actual results are:

72 of you, or 56% said Jake Gyllenhaal
56 of you, or 44% said Heath Ledger.

The new poll is up and it's about that internet community or insane asylum, you're choice, Myspace.com.

And the celebration continues...

What could be more entertaining than another installment of the AlterniQueer saga? Chapter seven is up and features quite a lot of wholesome angst fit for a girl or a boy.

Madonna and child.

Madonna says she had some explaining to do when her daughter, Lourdes, asked about that kiss with Britney Spears at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.

"(Lourdes) is really obsessed with who is gay," says Madonna in an interview in Out magazine's April issue. "And she even asked, 'Mom, you know they say that you are gay?' And I'm, 'Oh, do they? Why?' And she says, 'Because you kissed Britney Spears.'"

"And I said, 'No, it just means I kissed Britney Spears. I am the mommy pop star and she is the baby pop star. And I am kissing her to pass my energy on to her."

Madonna, 47, famously locked lips with Spears, 24, while performing her songs "Like a Virgin" and "Hollywood" at the awards ceremony.

The pop diva, considered by some to be an icon in the gay community, tells the magazine her 9-year-old daughter likes to guess who is gay: "Oh, and the other thing she likes to do when we go out, she says, 'Mom, do you want me to point out who the gay men are?' And I say, 'Okay, but I think I already know.'"

Madonna also addresses her feud with Elton John, who in 2004 accused her of lip-synching.

"He seems to be angry," she says. "I seem to have become a target. It's not very gentlemanly or gracious. But he did send me a letter apologizing for his last outburst, right before his wedding." (John and filmmaker David Furnish took civil-union vows in December.)

Lourdes is Madonna's daughter with actor/fitness instructor Carlos Leon. She has a 5-year-old son, Rocco, with husband of five years, filmmaker Guy Ritchie.

Pixiesticks.org Turns 5 Years Old

Later in the week, Saturday to be exact, the webspace that you've got your brower tuned to is turning FIVE years old. That's right, on March 11th 2001, I took what I'd been doing on my movie reviewing site Queer & The Fat Guy which was called Queerdom at the time, and put it on its own.

It's been a really long trip thus far filled with personal history that has spawned emails telling me how much they've loved and hated me. Many people have always appreciated my pulling the curtian back on my life, and its encouraged many people to come out to friends, family, or generally make their lives better for themselves. I have made so many friends through this site, and more than a couple became close friends. It also keeps me connected with those whose lives keep trying to sneak them away from me.

There has been heartache and triumph. Equal oppertunity offending. Political banter and news that is both very relevant and completely useless. There was "Pixiesticks" the novel which I wrote back in 2001 and is still on sale at amazon.com. And now there is "AlterniQueer" which is proving, at least to me, that my writing when more focused can be much better.

And we can't forget the yaoi. Yaoi has always been a part of this website. In five years we've seen a phenominon grow from some random fan art based on "Gundam Wing" to pretty much a juggernaut that demands even its own con out in San Francisco. We've seen a future star born in our own midst with Fang, who along with partner Nemo will be beginning their own domain shortly. And yaoi continues to be one of the biggest draws to pixiesticks.org.

Thank you very much for visiting. It doesn't matter if you've been here for just one day, or for a couple of years. It is my honor and pleasure to work on this project for the last five years. I'll continue to do my best to bring all of the things I mentioned above and find new and satifying ways to keep this thing going.

"Crash" into me. (And Pretty Boy Poll results)

I'd been saying for a while on the HSX boards that I wasn't convinced that Hollywood would give "Brokeback Mountian" Best Picture, and at the end of the show my doubts were proven correct. "Crash" ganks the Best Picture nod, splitting the two biggest awards of the night with Ang Lee director of "Brokeback Mountian."

In other news: Jon Stewart was tasty, but man did that audience really appear to not like him. Sucks to be them.

Finally: Here are the results of the Pretty Boy Poll

So, um, "Brokeback Mountian" who's hotter?

72 of you, or 56% said Ryan Phillipe
56 of you, or 44% said Matt Dillon

A new poll will be up tomorrow.
