Is that shota?

Hollywood actor Verne Troyer, who starred as Mini-Me in the Austin Powers films, is suing a website over a video of him having sex with a model.

The star, who stands 2ft 8 ins tall, has filed a $20 million lawsuit claiming invasion of privacy and breach of copyright.

He says the tape was stolen and has since ended up in the hands of the same film producer who distributed a notorious sex tape of hotel heiress Paris Hilton.

Mr Troyer, 39, is the latest in a long line of Hollywood celebrities to have their sex lives aired on the internet.

He made the tape with a former girlfriend, an American model in her 20s.

Mr Troyer filed his lawsuit at a court in Los Angeles and also requested and injunction banning further distribution of the film.

The actor, who is Hollywood's smallest star and also a stunt man, was married briefly in 2004 to a yoga teacher.

The following year he appeared on a US reality television show where he got drunk and urinated in the corner of a gym while riding naked on a scooter.

His most famous film role has been as Mini-Me, a miniature clone of Dr Evil, played by Mike Myers, in the Austin Powers films.

He appears in the second and third films of the trilogy - Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Austin Powers in Goldmember.

The actor also starred as Griphook the Goblin in the film of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

Pretty Boy Poll result and new question.

It had a lot of possible answers, but the fella that would come out on top would prove to be Hollywood's biggest hottie. At least according to the fans of this site. So which one of the guys won? The answer may not surprise you.

22% said Heath Ledger. You sick necro motherfuckers.
18% said Shia from Indiana Jones 4. He's as hot as he is dumb.
10% said Mr. Demi Moore. Proving that cougars visit the site in high numbers.
8% said Tony Stark using slings and a slave X cross they built in a cave.
8% said Jack Black in a Panda Suit. These people need to proceed to yiffing in hell.
6% said Emile Hirsch. This is the only people that saw Speed Racer as well.
6% said Justin Timberlake. I don't really have a joke here. He's fucking hot.
6% said Will Smith. I whistled for a cab and when it came near the licenses plate said 'Fresh' and there were dice in the mirror. If anything I could say this cab was rare, but I thought, nah forget it, yo homes to Bel-Air.
5% said Ben Barnes. These people also probably purchased "Elf-Ears" at Ren Fest.
3% said Colin Firth. They are bloody wankers.
2% said Spencer Breslin. They all need to please have a seat for me.
2% said Edward Norton. He would be rather easy to sneak a fuck since he sleepwalks through his roles.
1% said Chris Noth. They were found masturbating watching Sex in the City.
1% said Adam Sandler. This means he got 1 vote and that was likely Rob Schneider.
1% said James McAvoy. The other 99% said, "Who?"
1% said Brendan Fraser. They're also are the only one who doesn't pronounce it "Fraiser"
1% said David Duchovny. *waves to Bree Sharp*
1% said Seth Rogan. They need to put the doobie down.

Steve Carell and Ben Stiller did not get any votes. That's... that's just sad. I'm sorry Steve and Ben. Maybe you two can console one another. I'd probably watch that movie.

Pretty Boy Poll.

Today is your last chance to vote in the current Pretty Boy Poll that concerns mega-hotties that are playing at a theatre near you. What you do while watching said fellas is really not my business. (But we can make it my business if you want.)

UPDATE: I'm extending the poll for one more day. So Thursday is when I'll take it down, give up the results, and put a new question up. Tonight I think I'm going to be a lazy bitch.

Finally, Elf.

After at least a month of not seeing Elf at all, and maybe up to three months without seeing him privately just us two, I finally got the chance last night. It was very nice and a welcome return to something that always gave me a great deal of happiness.

His hair is shorter. Much shorter. Only just a bit past ear-length. When not straight-ironed, he looks much like a Wild Child or something. I like it quite a bit. Of course, I do wonder why he cut it since there is no mistaking him for a boy at this point. Hmmm.

We watched several shorts and one movie. The shorts were little horror bits from Stephen King, Romero, and the guy who created Beetlejuice. They all pretty much sucked which was the point of our watching them.

Also in the mix was a Canadian instructional video about the dangers of your colon. Oh very deliciously disgusting and truly inspired badness.

Finally, the original I Am Legend was watched in a movie called The World, The Flesh, and The Devil. I'm sure it was wonderful at the time, but of course, now just turns out to be in need of a good editor and a more interesting ending.

As for my evening with Elf. It couldn't have been any better really. We ate, we laughed, and I gave him a Ibiza rave worthy back rubs. Yes. Elf's body is still completely crave-able.

But don't worry, long time fans of my site. I took all of this as a refresher in my heart, soul, and mind, rather than an excuse to spiral into further depths of dispair, depression, and all of that.

Sex and the City opens big.

Friday night estimates for the HBO series turned motion picture are in and boy are they big time. 26.5 million for Sex in the City means the film could bust past 70 million in its opening frame. Hope Harrison Ford at least gets the number of one of those cougars that just ran him over in Indiana Jones' second weekend.

Also big was the Friday number for the horror film The Strangers: 7.6 million.

Despite middling reviews from younger viewers, Indy brings in the big bucks.

LOS ANGELES — Indiana Jones unearthed box office gold at domestic theaters with a performance that puts it on track to become the second biggest Memorial Day movie opening ever, according to studio estimates Sunday.

The fourth installment of the whip-cracking professor's exploits, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," grossed an estimated $101 million from Friday to Sunday, plus $25 million from its opening Thursday, distributor Paramount Pictures said. The company expects it to earn another $25 million on Monday.

That would put it behind only "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," which had a Friday-through-Monday total of $139.8 million, in the pantheon of Memorial Day weekend blockbusters.

Including Thursday's receipts, "Indiana Jones" was expected to collect $151 million over five days, slightly behind "Pirates," which took in $153 million with a partial Thursday included.

"'Indiana Jones' did incredibly well for a film that comes 19 years after the previous installment," said Paul Dergarabedian, president of tracking firm Media By Numbers LLC.

The adventure flick received a lackluster reception from critics at the Cannes Film Festival, but audiences thought otherwise.

Box office estimates grew from $25 million on its opening Thursday through $37 million on Saturday, suggesting strong word of mouth, Dergarabedian said.

"This is the definition of a summer movie from two of the architects of the summer movie season — George Lucas and Steven Spielberg," he said. "These guys have it down to a science and audiences want to go along for that ride."

The first three Indy movies took in $1.2 billion worldwide.

Disney's action sequel, "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian," slipped to second place with $23 million, for a total of $91.1 million over two weeks. The company expected the movie to continue to play well as school lets out.

"Once you start getting the mass number of kids out of school, it turns into some serious money," said Chuck Viane, president of distribution for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

Marvel Studios' "Iron Man" clinched another $20.1 million, bringing its domestic total to $252.3 million. A sequel is set for release in 2010.

The 20th Century Fox comedy, "What Happens in Vegas," continued to roll with $9 million in its third week, for a total of $54.2 million.

Fox senior vice president Bert Livingstone said high gas prices were encouraging people to see movies rather than take long trips away from home.

"This is the last great bargain," Livingstone said.

But movie receipts were about 16 percent smaller than last year's Memorial Day weekend, and revenue for the year to date is down nearly 4 percent at $3.3 billion, with attendance off nearly 7 percent.

By this time last year, there were seven movies that grossed over $100 million: "Pirates," "Shrek the Third," "Spider-Man 3," "300," "Wild Hogs," "Blades of Glory" and "Ghost Rider," according to Media By Numbers. This year, there are only three: "Iron Man," "Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!" and "Indiana Jones."

"It's no wonder that we're down in terms of revenues and attendance," Dergarabedian said. "You don't get out of a deficit like this overnight."

Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Media By Numbers LLC. Final figures will be released Tuesday.

1. "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," $101 million.

2. "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian," $23 million.

3. "Iron Man," $20.1 million.

4. "What Happens in Vegas," $9 million.

5. "Speed Racer," $4 million.

6. "Made of Honor," $3.4 million.

7. "Baby Mama," $3.3 million.

8. "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," $1.7 million.

9. "Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay," $900,000.

10. "The Visitor," $800,000.

Moviegoers miss out on something epic.

Speed Racer is a live action anime masterpiece. Amazing and thrilling in every sense of the word, it's like Final Fantasy the movie all over again, however, in how hard it fell to earth this past weekend in the box office numbers.

Number one for a second week in a row is Iron Man. Some are calling it the greatest comic book movie of all time. I'm not so sure I believe that, but I do know it's making a great deal of money. 51.9 million this weekend to bring its two week total to 177.8 million dollars. It won't be number 1 next weekend however as Prince Caspian will rise up to take his rightful place on the throne.

The new coming films battled it out all weekend and Warner Brothers did some really sketchy things with their numbers to try and make it so that Speed Racer would come out on top. But alas, number 2 belongs to What Happens In Vegas. Ashton and Cameron's flick made 20.1 when the actual numbers were released today.

That forced Speed Racer into the bronze position. Despite being an extremely promoted flick, moviegoers just weren't looking for something mind-bending from the Wachoskis this time around. 18.5 million is a bomb no matter how you slice it. Such a tragic disappointment since the movie is actually really really good.

Made of Honor with McDreamy was in fourth place this weekend. It made 8.1 million bringing its total after two weeks to 26.7 million dollars.

Baby Mama found 6.2 million in its third week bringing that chick-flick's total to 40.8 million. It's interesting to note that all the girl friendly films in the wake of the Iron Man aren't cannibalizing each other.

Son of Rambow made 154 thousand dollars. It's now in 36 screens and will get even more this upcoming week. If one of them is near you... GO! GO SEE THE MOVIE! The current total for the indie kid-flick is 227 thousand dollars so it really could use your help.

Go Speed Go!!

Speed Racer is a hyper-active love letter to anime fans. Others will have to sit down, shut up, and enjoy the ride, or get the hell out of the way.

Much as the final two episodes of the Matrix trilogy had severe and vicious detractors, people have been and will try and decimate this fantastic feature length live-action version of the classic anime.

What bursts off the screen isn't just mind-blowingly amazing special effect wizardry, but rather a successful attempt at moving the genre forward while faithfully keeping some stereotypical elements firmly on the ground.

Yes, the acting is stilted and deliberately so.
Yes, humorous sidekicks Spritle and Chim-Chim are oft lame-brain.
And yes, that really is a mighty frightening mustache John Goodman is sporting.

But don't lose focus on the bigger picture.
And what a dazzling, outrageously ambitious picture it is.

Go Speed Go, indeed.

Iron Man blasts to 100+ million opening.

In a feat that's incredible in every sense of the word, Iron Man blew up the box office this weekend in the debut of the Summer Blockbuster season. Opening at 8pm on Thursday and never letting up, the Robert Downey Jr (REALLY?) flick pulled in an estimated $104.25 million dollars.

Made of Honor, another newcomer this weekend, was in 2nd place with 15.5 million. Obviously a hueg like X-BOX difference between the top two slots.

Baby Mama dropped to third with an additional 10.3 million, bringing its two week total to 32.3 million.

The latest Apatow flick, Forgetting Sarah Marshall narrowly beat out the fifth place film Harold and Kumar 2. Marshall won 6.1 million while the stoner flick that also features Neal Patrick Harris obtained another 6 million. Their totals now stand at 44.8 and 25.2 million respectively.

Harold and Kumar and The Forbidden Kingdom saw terrible drops as their audiences were catered directly to by the juggernaut comic book film Iron Man.

In its 3rd weekend, Jet Li and Jackie Chan earned 4.2 million for sixth place and currently has 45.1 million in the bank.

In seventh, the children's flick Nim's Island, gained another 2.7 million. It's total stands at 42.5 million after five weeks.

The Prom Night remake, 21, and 88 minutes rounded out the top 10.

When it came to independent flicks like Son of Rambow, well things didn't go so well for the kid friendly Brit film. With only 5 screens though, it's unsure if this is going to be the trend for the platforming release. It earned 52k. I really hope it gets a shot to play in more arenas, but considering the onslaught of big flicks coming up, I worry about it's chances.

No more Shinji.

Last night, after a wonderful showing of "Son of Rambow" in which Colin and I got to meet the director of the film at their kickin' 80s after party (the film is set in the 80s,) we headed to Heretic to see Kaze and Tatsuo.

We weren't going to stay long, and indeed we didn't. But before we could manage to leave, Shinji spontaneously showed. He says he's lost his phone. But I was very glad to see him. At least at first. But unlike the want and desire he'd been showing me for the last month or so, he hardly treated me nice. In fact, I'd say he was quite mean. Everything from picking on me, to physical attacks that he said he was playing but I told him I wasn't liking it. Yeah, this is not where I want to be. Seme uke games be damned.

This type of behavior, along with the previous things that he's done -- either deliberate, or on accident -- really just proves to me that this isn't going to work out. Much as I hate to say it, he's not the guy for me.

So I'm done trying to mess with that.

PENIS!

VIEWER discretion is strongly advised.

Here's the naked truth: Male genitalia is getting unprecedented screen time at the multiplex these days -- in mainstream popcorn fare and broad comedies -- thanks in large part to comic mogul Judd Apatow (and his band of merry collaborators), who has pledged to shake Americans from their squeamishness about male anatomy in movies.

Exhibit A: the Apatow-produced R-rated heartbreak comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," which hits theaters Friday.

I guess we can have his gun now?

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Charlton Heston, who won the 1959 best actor Oscar as the chariot-racing "Ben-Hur" and portrayed Moses, Michelangelo, El Cid and other heroic figures in movie epics of the '50s and '60s, has died. He was 84.

The actor died Saturday night at his home in Beverly Hills with his wife Lydia at his side, family spokesman Bill Powers said. He declined to comment on the cause of death or provide further details.

"Charlton Heston was seen by the world as larger than life. He was known for his chiseled jaw, broad shoulders and resonating voice, and, of course, for the roles he played," Heston's family said in a statement. "No one could ask for a fuller life than his. No man could have given more to his family, to his profession, and to his country."

Heston revealed in 2002 that he had symptoms consistent with Alzheimer's disease, saying, "I must reconcile courage and surrender in equal measure."

With his large, muscular build, well-boned face and sonorous voice, Heston proved the ideal star during the period when Hollywood was filling movie screens with panoramas depicting the religious and historical past.

"I have a face that belongs in another century," he often remarked.

21 continues to cash in on the box office.

Friday night in movieplexes and apparently all anyone wants to do is play a game of blackjack. Last week's number one movie, 21, continued to smash up the competition. Playing with its cards close to its chest, the film gained another 5.2 million bringing its total stack to 36.6

In second place last night, overexposed George Clooney suffered a blow with his period piece wacky comedy called Leatherheads. 4.5 million was all the film could find in its first day of box office release.

Kid's flick, Nim's Island, which is produced by Walden, did better than the entire opening weekend of some of the companies previous released in just on day. But that 3.8 isn't really that appealing.

Fourth place went to the horror flick The Ruins. The creepy crawly film is produced by Dreamworks and made 2.75 million which isn't that great if you consider scary movies make more money typically on Fridays than Saturdays.

Finally, in 5th place was Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who. A long time box office champion, it made another 2.5 million and brought its grand total to 124 million dollars.

Speaking of movies, check out Son of Rambow's website and find out if this very kawaii indie film is going to be playing at a theater near you. I plan to see it when it comes to the Atlanta Film Festival the 18th.

Sarah Marshalls of the world annoyed by movie ad campaign.

Sarah Marshall of Glendora didn't get a lot of notice. Until about two weeks ago.

That's when hundreds of billboards started appearing in five cities, including Los Angeles. They proclaimed, in black letters scrawled against a white background: "I'm So Over You, Sarah Marshall," "You Suck Sarah Marshall," "My Mother Always Hated You, Sarah Marshall," and "You Do Look Fat in Those Jeans, Sarah Marshall."

The billboards are part of a marketing campaign for the comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," from Universal Pictures, about a dumped boyfriend trying to get over his ex.

The animosity toward their fictional namesake has brought the real Sarah Marshalls -- who include an advertising student in Texas, a special-education teacher in Connecticut and a high school senior in Glendora -- an outpouring of concern.

"They're everywhere, and they're so annoying," said Sarah Marshall the Glendora student, who lives three blocks from one of the billboards. Adults called her parents to ask if she was the target of a hate campaign. "I wish they specified that it's a movie," she said.

Ad student Sarah Marshall of Fort Worth, Texas, one of 276 Sarah Marshalls on Facebook, said: "I got a lot of e-mails and phone calls asking if my boyfriend and I were OK."

But don't expect any sympathy cards from the Universal marketing department.

"We wanted people to ask the question 'Who is Sarah Marshall?' " said Adam Fogelson, president of marketing and distribution for Universal Pictures. "And everything we hoped would happen has come to pass."

The outdoor campaign -- which also includes thousands of ads on buses, taxis and bus shelters in New York, San Francisco, Chicago and Dallas -- will be replaced this weekend by more traditional advertising for the movie.

If that doesn't draw crowds, Universal can at least count on Sarah Marshalls across the country buying tickets. Said Sarah Marshall Edmond, the 30-year-old special-ed teacher in Connecticut: "I'll have to see it now."

I'm not sure even sushi and alcohol could have made Meet the Spartians tolerable.

A recession may be looming, but a group of investors thinks Americans are ready to pony up $35 for a movie ticket.

Village Roadshow Ltd., Act III, Lambert Entertainment and the Retirement Systems of Alabama pension fund have partnered to bring the luxury cinema circuit Village Roadshow Gold Class Cinemas to the U.S.

The partners will spend $200 million to build 50 theaters nationwide over the next five years, with the first two venues set to open in South Barrington, a suburb of Chicago, and the Seattle suburb of Redmond in October. Others are planned for Fairview, Texas, near Dallas-Fort Worth, and Scottsdale, Ariz.

Each complex will sport theaters featuring 40 reclining armchair seats with footrests, digital projection and the capability to screen 2-D and 3-D movies, as well as a lounge and bar serving cocktails and appetizers, a concierge service and valet parking.

But the circuit will especially push its culinary offerings -- made-to-order meals like sushi and other theater-friendly foods from on-site chefs (a service button at each seat calls a waiter). Moviegoers will have to pay extra for any food they order, however.

The Burbank-based company's hoping to attract 10 million "upscale and affluent" consumers per year to its theaters that will be housed in high-end shopping centers and malls. Each complex will typically house eight screens.

"It's a new way to go to the movies," said Graham Burke, managing director and CEO of Village Roadshow Ltd. "It's like what Mercedes is to a Toyota or like flying first class in an airplane."

Village Roadshow founded the Gold Class Cinemas chain in Australia in 1997. It has since expanded to other countries, including Singapore and Greece.

Company execs said bringing the chain to the U.S. is a "natural extension" of the brand.

"The demand for luxury moviegoing in the U.S. is very strong, and by working with our partners, we are delivering on that demand in a way never before experienced by the American consumer," said Kirk Senior, CEO of Village Roadshow Gold Class Cinemas.

In addition to its initial complexes in Illinois, Washington, Texas and Arizona, company also plans to build in California, Florida, Nevada, Pennsylvania and New York.

Gold Class Cinemas won't be the first luxury theater circuit in the U.S. Regal Entertainment, Cinemark, National Amusements and Sundance Cinemas offer similar services, including high-end food and concierges, at much cheaper prices of around $12-$18 per ticket.

Idea is that plushing up the current moviegoing experience will encourage auds that typically stay home to watch movies via their pricey home theaters to venture out again. But it's also a way for exhibs to make more money: Concession sales are kept by theater chains, while a little more than half of each ticket sold is split with the studios. Selling sushi and a glass of wine will command higher prices than popcorn and soda.

There are an estimated 300 high-end multiplexes operating in the U.S.

If the recession is stressing out some businesses, exhibitors aren't sweating just yet. Entertainment has long been shown to be recession-proof. And that's exactly the attitude Village Roadshow is taking.

"This is a top-end experience," Burke said. "People want to get away from their blues. I don't think the recession will affect it one iota."

Technical problems knock out Netflix all day.

LOS GATOS, Calif. - Online DVD rental leader Netflix Inc. is suffering a technology breakdown that's knocked out its Web site, inconveniencing its 7.5 million subscribers.

The outage could mean some customers will have to wait longer than usual for their next rentals.

Company spokesman Steve Swasey says the trouble blocked access to Netflix's Web site about 7 a.m. PDT Monday. The site was still down in the afternoon. (Ed note: The service resumed at around 9:00pmEDT)

Swasey says DVDs that normally would have been mailed Monday may not go out until Tuesday because the problem also has hobbled some Netflix distribution centers.

7 years. 7 long years.

On this, pixiesticks.org's 7 Year Anniversary, I want to thank all of you who have started coming out of the woodwork. All the emails. All the answers to the polls. To the comments on the tag-board, or on posts. All the donations, either of content or money.

This site is now, seven years after it started as something so very small, so successful I have decided to split it in two parts. And what's even better, you won't necessarily have to change anything about the way you view or have come to appreciate this site.

A few weeks ago, I purchased shotalicious.org and started building the framework. It has slightly better hosting than pixiesticks.org and I want it to be where all the shit goes down when it comes to the yaoi and shota content. It will be run as a separate site, but truly it's going to be tightly held together with this one.

It will feature increased amounts of shota vs yaoi. Seven years ago when yaoi was first really starting to make an impact, it was where the action was at. Now, shota is in that same position. I want shota panels at anime conventions. Hell, I want a shota convention in the United States! It's the only way we can ensure that the government doesn't start taking away what we love piece by piece my friends.

The new site will feature an image blog much like the one that used to be over on the yaoi page here. But in addition, there will be the glorious return of video clips. Hopefully the bandwidth will work out. But that is part of the beauty of this. If shotalicious does ever go down, pixiesticks will not. There is also a message board over on the new site which I think is in alot of ways better than the tag-board that will remain here.

As for pixiesticks? Well, it will continue to move forward too. The blog will keep containing news postings I think are interesting as well as personal stuff about myself. The works page, which took a hit when the site went down in December, will be renewed with vigor. Especially as I get done editing "Later, Skater" and it draws nearer to publishing. And, of course, the movie review page will be there too.

I know many people will be thinking, why are you totally screwing with things again so soon after you lost your webhosting back in December? But you have to look at it from my perspective: I want to be able to be as good as I was the day before that happened. And then, I also want to be better. I decided the only way that could happen was to separate the "in danger of getting deleted content" from the rest so I don't get totally heartbroken when the inevitable happens.

For seven years I've staked my claim on the Internet at pixiesticks.org.
Now, I'm doing it also at shotalicious.org. And trust me when I say, over there, I'm severely going to be marking my territory.

Thanks for 7 years.

With much love,
PIXIE
